The evolution of school surveillance from analog to digital network cameras
School security continues to be of utmost concern for parents and educators. In this presentation Josh Breault of Axis Communications will discuss how school surveillance has evolved since the days of VHS and analog cameras. Attendees will learn how schools are using the latest technologies such as IP cameras/network cameras and IP-based surveillance to maximize security while minimizing installation expenses. Josh will show how schools can leverage existing infrastructure while transitioning to the newest advances in surveillance technology. Attendees will learn about the latest advances in school based security applications such as intelligent video, HD, h.264 compression and access via handheld devices to seamlessly cooperate with law enforcement.
