A global look at successful technology integration projects improving education
In an age when the economy—and many student interactions—are increasingly digital, our schools are becoming disconnected from the world our students know and are falling behind in preparing students for post-secondary education and the workforce. Today’s digital schools are not merely wired, they are deeply connected to the expectations students will face in college and careers, requiring collaboration, critical thinking, communication and creativity. Looking at the latest policy and research, this session will explore examples from around the world that have worked to formalize the connection between today’s classroom and tomorrow’s expectations.
