K12HSN provides a robust statewide K-20 videoconferencing system.
Today, videoconferencing allows students to enjoy virtual field trips, to engage with content specialists in real-time discussions, etc without leaving their classrooms. California is actively strengthening the deployment and use of videoconferencing so that in the near future, videoconferencing can become a standard teaching tool. The California K-12 High Speed Network is working with CENIC and California’s higher education segments to provide a robust statewide K-20 videoconferencing system. Instead of running parallel systems, K-12 and higher education institutions will soon begin sharing videoconferencing services statewide.
