Desert Sands USD has developed many technology tools that are essential for students' achievement, and enhance the involvement of teachers, administrators, and parents. Our presentation will include the discussion of how we created a technology environment environment and the technology tools that are being used by all stakeholders. Technology tools are part of the daily learning activities. We will discuss the implementation of the district wide integrated environment in which all technology tools are interacting for the benefit of all. We will describe the benefits of a fully implemented School Interoperability Framework (SIF), data mining, district portal, online assessments and gradebook, and resources on demand. Demonstration of tools that are effective for students' achievement. One of the greatest challenges facing education today is the ability to seamlessly and securely connect disparate software applications, databases and networks for student achievement. Our presentation will stimulate the understanding of ways to make this happen in current difficult times. The audience will get a perception of the implementation steps needed as well as the incredible benefits. Add to My Schedule for the CETPA Conference View my Conference Schedule
